Oopbuy Spreadsheet notes on the agent itself

Who runs Oopbuy, what it does for you, why its tools suit careful parcel planning, and when another agent may suit you better.

What is Oopbuy

Oopbuy is a shopping agent: a service that buys from Chinese marketplaces on your behalf, receives the goods in its own warehouse, inspects them and ships them abroad. You paste a product link from Taobao, 1688 or Weidian, pay for the item and the domestic freight, and Oopbuy's buyers place the order with the seller. The beginner's guide also names Tmall. Other links may need a supported manual order; confirm purchase feasibility before funding one. Oopbuy also operates its own Mall, whose listing conditions need separate review.

The service is operated by Openbuy Technology HK Limited, company number 77213008. Two registered addresses appear on official pages: one in Causeway Bay on the current Contact Us page, one in Tuen Mun on an older notice. The warehouse is in Xiamen, Fujian. Apps exist for iOS and Android, and there is a mobile web version.

The operator describes itself as having offices in the United States, China and elsewhere and serving key regions in 45 countries. Those are its own statements; we have not verified them.

Registration is free. Create an account on Oopbuy.

Why Oopbuy, for parcel planning

Every agent ships parcels; the differences show up in what you can see before you commit. For the subject of this site, four things count in Oopbuy's favour.

  • A public estimator. You can list routes, prices, delivery times and tax labels for your country without an account.
  • Limits printed per route. The details panel shows minimum and maximum weight, the rounding method, the size formula and the item types the route accepts.
  • Rehearsal packing. For 20 CNY the warehouse packs your parcel and tells you the real weight before you pay for shipping.
  • No agent service fee. The costs are goods, domestic freight, international shipping and the declaration fee.

Two cautions belong with that list. The estimator's dollar prices use a fixed divisor, and several policy figures appear in different versions on different official pages. We print both versions wherever that happens.

When to use another agent instead

A fair answer includes the cases where Oopbuy is not the obvious choice.

  • No route to your country. If the estimator lists nothing for your destination, custom logistics is the only path, and an agent with a listed route may be simpler.
  • Mostly battery goods. If every parcel will carry batteries, count the battery routes each agent lists for your country. On Oopbuy's US list it was 10 routes for built-in batteries and 1 for loose batteries on October 10, 2026.
  • You want CNY pricing throughout. The estimator converts at a fixed divisor; some shoppers prefer an agent that bills in CNY.
  • One big item. Oopbuy documents a separate-packaging label at 90 cm. Other agents can have different rules; compare their actual oversize services before buying.

Why this spreadsheet

Most spreadsheet sites stop at the catalogue: a card, a price, a link. This one adds the part the catalogue cannot show, which is what each item will do to your parcel. Categories carry a packing note, the box split check applies the route rules to your own list, and every limit is dated.

Where we help: before you buy the last item of a haul, while the box can still change. Where we do not: we do not rate items, we do not list or route counterfeit goods, and we do not replace the estimator, which is the final word on the day you ship.

How the list is kept: route data from the public estimator, rules and fees from the help centre and footer pages, catalogue links checked before publishing, and corrections dated on the updates page.

How to choose a trustworthy agent

Whichever agent you pick, the checks that matter for a shopper are simple and verifiable.

  1. A named company. Look for an operating entity with a registration number and an address. Oopbuy publishes Openbuy Technology HK Limited with number 77213008.
  2. A support address that answers. Oopbuy lists [email protected] and a separate address for counterfeit reports.
  3. Published rules. Storage, returns, insurance and prohibited items should be written down, with deadlines.
  4. Honest contradictions. Every large help centre has some. An agent is not untrustworthy because two pages disagree; it becomes a problem when you cannot find out which one applies. Ask support and keep the answer.

Review-site scores are not on that list. Trustpilot showed no rating for Oopbuy at our reading, citing a breach of its guidelines, so we quote no stars.

Other agents you will also see

Spreadsheet links usually work with several agents, and you will meet names such as Kakobuy, Superbuy, CSSBuy, Sugargoo and Lovegobuy alongside Oopbuy. The mechanics are similar: a marketplace link, a warehouse in China, photos, a parcel and a route list.

Comparing them on headline prices is hard because coupons and exchange rates move. For parcel planning, compare structure instead: whether the estimator shows size formulas and accepted item types, how many battery routes serve your country, how long free storage lasts, and who the operating company is.

We do not rank agents. The questions in the figure work for any two of them.

The choosing page applies the same thinking to sellers and items.
